Planning a Wedding - in Israel

I arrived to Israel yesterday and of course I am jet-lagged. I think it's 3am. I'm worrying. I have less than 2 weeks to plan a wedding for this coming August/September. I was hoping it would be easier out here to plan one but it is just as hard. Did I mention that we will probably have about 350-400 guests?! Yeah I guess that doesn't sound that much.
I have been searching the net for venues and really there are so many beautiful places. I wish I had more time for this but we will have to do with what we have.
My mother was suppose to be a part of this but she is in the States currently taking care of my grandmother and I can understand that but it is hard even though between you (is there anyone there?) and me - my father is the best party planner in the world!
I am excited and I hope in this short time, because it will go by SO fast I will also get a chance to see my friends.

My First blog

Welcome all to my first ever blog!

This is somewhat exciting. I have never thought of doing this before but thought "everyone is doing it why shouldn't I?"

Well, I'm not quite sure what this blog is going to be about since I don't have one major event going on in my life - oh wait have I mentioned that I am engaged to be married and that it will almost be a year since we announced it and we still have no date?! yeah that's just how we roll. The couple that didn't want a long engagement is in fact taking their sweet @ss time :)

I'll keep you posted when we get a date.
